Mary NealMary Neal is an associate in the firm since 2006. Ms. Neal concentrates her practice in areas of  Civil Litigation, Insurance Defense, Personal Injury; Insurance Coverage; Trial Practice. Background and Education: Ms. Neal received a Bachelor of Arts in 1986 from Central Michigan University. In 1990, Ms. Neal received her Juris Doctor Degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan. Ms. Neal was admitted to the Michigan Bar in 1990 and admitted to the Illinois Bar in 1991. In 2003, Ms. Neal was admitted to the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Illinois. She is currently a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the DuPage Bar Association. Bar Admission: Illinois, 1991 U.S. District Court, Northern District of Illinois, 2003 Work Experience: Ms. Neal began her litigation career as an Associate at the firm of Hayman & Kirshenbum from 1991 through 1996, representing Plaintiffs in personal injury cases. From 1996 to 1998 Ms. Neal was in-house counsel for State Farm Insurance Company, representing and defending insured clients in trial and arbitration. Ms. Neal continued representing both Defendants and Plaintiffs in various matters until 2001. From 2001 until 2004 Ms. Neal was an Associate at the Collins Law Firm and represented Plaintiffs and Defendants in matters including personal injury, insurance defense, commercial litigation and contract disputes. Ms. Neal has tried over ten civil jury trials to verdict in Cook and collar counties and has represented many clients in bench trials and Arbitration. Personal: Ms. Neal lives in Bolingbrook, Illinois with her husband Jim and son Jacob. She is an active volunteer at her son’s school and enjoys yoga, outdoor activities and cooking. |
