Peregrine, Stime, Newman, Ritzman & Bruckner, Ltd.

Committed to the Ethical Performance of High Quality Legal Work Tailored to Your Needs

A Wheaton Law Firm Dedicated to Helping People

On September 9, 1959, Hartman E. Stime and Roy I. Peregrine decided to leave their separate practices in Chicago to begin their own law firm in Wheaton, Illinois. Through the years, this firm has established its prominence and has added attorneys who continue to provide their valued expertise in diverse areas of the law.

In 1978 the firm relocated to the current building, The Marcellus Jones House. The house was built around 1865 by Marcellus E. Jones, a former Captain in the Union Cavalry. According to Portrait and Biographical Records of Leaders of Cook County and DuPage County published in 1899, Capt. Jones "was one of the valiant defenders of the Old Flag during the late war, and fired the first shot at the battle of Gettysburg."

Now known today as Peregrine, Stime, Newman, Ritzman, & Bruckner, Ltd., this law firm has continued to rise above standards for over 50 years, while staying true to our vision and being consistent with our three part Mission Statement.

The Firm’s Attorneys and Staff are committed to providing the highest quality legal services in this historical setting.
